Easter is coming! Chocolate and bunnies … and …. our annual HARP Divine Principle Workshop! This is a wonderful opportunity to listen to the Divine Principle from beginning to end, though lectures actives and discussion together as brothers and sisters.
Dates: March 27th – April 2nd 2016.
Fee: £120 for the first participant, and £110 for subsequent siblings.
Age: 11-18 (HARP age)
Condition: This condition is an offering we make before we attend a workshop. Not only does it prepare us mentally for the exciting week to come, but also allows us to offer something to God, and to prepare spiritually too.
Therefore, we would like to ask you to join in a 7 day condition that starts on the 20th March, and finishes on the 26th March – the day before the workshop commences. We propose that you do a 7- minute prayer, or 21 minute reading of some kind e.g. Divine Principle (you can get a head start!) HDH texts, the Bible etc, and encourage you to do more if you want to.
Things to bring: (please label all personal belongings)
-Workshop fee (£120 in cash for the first participant and £110 for subsequent siblings)
-Signed Code of Conduct (Participants often forget this crucial part, so please ensure that this is printed, signed and taken with them! Access the Code of Conduct here.)
-An extra blanket – Cleeve House gets extremely cold, and does not have many extra blankets. To ensure a cosy night’s sleep please consider this!
-Clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
-Sports shoes (shoes may get wet)
-Slippers for indoors: This is very important, as the floors get incredibly dirty, which means socks and feet get very grubby, wet and cold.
-Alarm clock: As we are confiscating mobile phones, you may need an alarm clock to ensure you wake up on time!
-Notebook and pens
-An open mind and heart!
Please leave video games consoles and mobile phones etc at home. If you do choose to bring them, please take hand them in upon registration. They will be given back to you after the workshop; this is so that we can be free of distraction during the workshop.
-Pocket Money (we will have a tuck shop)
-Games that can be played in a short space of time, such as banana grams, SET, Dobble etc
The workshop commences with dinner at 6pm on March 27th, and ends after lunch on April 2nd. Parents are more than welcome to attend the Graduation from around 11am.
Travel: If you require pick up from Chippenham,Trowbridge or Melksham, then please inform us no later than the 20th March and we can arrange a lift.
Mobile phone connection is bad at Cleeve House so it is imperative that you make arrangements well beforehand, and that you let us know in advance to avoid getting stranded!
Workshop site address: Cleeve House, Trowbridge Road, Seend, Melksham, Wiltshire SN12 6PG
